Pricing

Bocas Containers is the original container service to the islands. We strive to offer our customers the best pricing available with the most thorough and knowledgeable customer service. To Make this a smooth process be sure to follow our address and declaration procedures. Our rates are volume based until 20Lbs per square foot is exceeded, at which point the square foot rate is applied per 20 Lbs. It is only the very heaviest cargo that we see this occur. By utilizing our pallet rate and the full volume of the pallet space you will find our rates to be by far cheaper than any competitor. However, our small package rate is also lower than our competitors. We accomplish this by sharing the container with our other clients. We average departures monthly from Florida to Bocas. We service all of Western Panama with deliveries via a trusted domestic carrier after arrival at our warehouse in Bocas. We also help clients bring cargo from 1 pallet to full containers from all over the globe. We can quote you pricing from other international ports on a case by case basis.

Full Container

• Unloading of your goods by our palette lift truck in Medley, Florida ( no need to pay for tail gate truck service)

• Inland transport from our warehouse to the port.

• Sea transport from Port of Everglades, Fort Lauderdale to Bocas Del Toro, Isla Colon.

*NOT INCLUDED

• Insurance sold separately (not applicable on used personal goods)

• Inland transport from your loading place in USA to the port.

• Custom Broker fees in Panama.

• Trucking and ferry fees to Bocas 

• Panama custom duty 0% to 15%

• Panama sales tax ITBM 7% 

• Haz Mat certificate (if required)

• Delivery to your place in Bocas (quote separately)

• The cost does NOT include duty and tax fees on your goods.

Pallet Space

$499 = $0.0032per cubic inch at pallet rate.

One pallet size is 40" X 48" on the floor X 80" high,

(90 cu.ft )( 155,520 cu.inch) max 2,000 lb

Small Packages

$0.0052 per cubic inch or $9 per cubic foot -  20 lb/cubic foot at this price (with a $15 minimum)
